This is an example of a cutting list calculation from a list of finished sizes.
The original part list usually represents the finished item. But note that the material in the part list is usually set to the CORE material because that is the material on which all the other calculations are based. The sizes are the finished sizes (after any trimming) and the grain is usually the grain of the front face.

LONG-1 and LONG-2 are the boxes for the edging on the long edges and SHORT-1 and SHORT-2 are the boxes for the edging on the short edges. FRONT and BACK are the boxes for the laminates. 0 or blank indicates no edging.
For this example the information about each edging code from the Edging library and about overlap from the edging parameter list are as follows:-
YW-TAPE and RD-TAPE are added after laminating and are 1mm thick
TEAK and PLAIN laminate sheets are 2mm thick
Overlap for laminate is 20mm
