Time to label each part / offcut (seconds)

Saw parameter to set up times to apply printed labels at the saw

Set up the times and rules for including the time to apply printed labels to a part. In some cases, whole sheets have printed labels applied on a label table prior to cutting.

Enter a value in seconds for the time for labelling each part

Notes

Labelling time calculations

Labelling time = Number of parts / offcuts on the top sheet x time to label each part / offcut.

If 'Label top sheet only' is left unchecked the labelling time is multiplied by the number of sheets in the  cycle.

The program assumes that both offcuts and parts are labelled.

Cutting time simulations

The labelling time appears at the start of each cycle. The effect of including labelling time varies according to the saw model and layout. For single saws with no pre-stacking table, labelling for each cycle completes before cutting commences. For single saws with a pre-stacking table, the labelling and pre-stacking operations for the next cycle can run simultaneously with cutting operations for the current cycle.

For multi-axis saws, the labelling time appears on the pre-stacking time line.
