Define parts, fittings and operations
Use the part library to define and store each part, fitting, and operation. Each item in the library has a unique code and other data such as length, width, and description.
Library parts can be selected at the Part list - this helps to standardise and speed up the entry of part list data. They are also used to define fixed parts and custom parts for use with the Product definitions in the Product library.
At the main screen:-
● Select: Libraries - Part library
or
Select
the Toolbar option
Use the Part Library screen to enter new items or edit existing items.
At top left are the basic part details (description, length, width etc.) and to the right an (optional) part drawing. The part drawing is often used where the part contains machining. The items at the foot of the screen are the Part information boxes set for each part. These are custom boxes so there may be none defined in some cases.
