Nested pattern barcodes

 

Review runs setting to set whether a printed bar code is included on nested patterns

 

The pattern display can be set to include a bar code.

 

Combo-button.gif Select the type of bar code from the list box

 

The bar code is Code39 format and contains the run number and pattern number and is placed beneath each pattern on the Pattern Preview and Pattern drawing.

 

The options are:-

 

None

8 character

8 character.nc

9 character

14 character

 

9 character bar code

 

For Nested patterns the format is: A 5 digit run number (or name) followed by a 4 digit pattern number. e.g. 010450001

14 character bar code

 

The format is an 8 digit run number and 4 digit pattern number separated by '/P'. e.g. 00001032/P0004

8 character bar code

 

This is based on a 5 digit run number and a 3 digit pattern number, for example:-

 

Run 00005 Pattern 2 is: 00005002

 

8 character nc bar code

 

This is the same as the 8 character bar code with just .nc added to the end, for example

 

Run 00005 Pattern 2 is 00005002.nc

Notes

 

- Bar codes only appear on Printed reports

- Run numbers and names are truncated or padded where necessary to match the format

- Bar codes are only displayed for pattern numbers up to 999.
